Campus Nature Trail Hike

Macomb College Center Campus is built around a lovely nature trail – with the entrance close to MORE’s University Center location. Attendees will meet briefly at the UC for orientation, then proceed to the hike, led by ever-popular science and nature presenter Mike Reed. To enjoy this pleasant spring day in the woods be sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring a walking-stick if needed. Water will be provided.
About the Presenter: Michael (Mike) Reed, often called the “Spiderman,” has worked for the Detroit Zoo for over 30 years. He is also on the advisory board of the School of Forestry and Environmental Science at Michigan Tech University, as well as a former president and current board member for the Michigan Alliance for Environmental and Outdoor Education. He has led hundreds on their first camping experience.
